Installing scripts through Softaculous is quite a simple task. To access Softaculous, log into your cPanel -> Softaculous.
There, you will see hundreds of scripts available and for each script there is a description, reviews, screenshots and demos so that you can find the best solution for your project.
Once you have found the script you need, click on it and hit the install button. After that fill in the Installation Details.
- Click on the Install Tab.
- You will now see a form with various details.
- You can set your desired user and password, as well as your site name. All other details, you are not sure about, you can leave as they are.
*Note : If you wish to install the script on the root of the domain eg: https://yourdomain.com please leave the In Directory field blank. If you wish to install in a subfolder, which to access on https://yourdomain.com/subfolder, you need to type the name of the subfolder (in our case “subfolder”) in the In Directory field.
- Once you are done with the details click on the install button and this should do the trick. Installation time may vary according to the size of the script and other factors. Please be patient.
